A note on availability

ÎleO is intentionally small. Availability is limited to maintain care, connection, and quality within the community.

We prioritize Full Immersion families. A limited number of Local / Independent spots are available subject to capacity and community balance.

All placements are reviewed for alignment and community fit.

FAQ

Questions about booking & pricing

Can I join for less than a full cohort season?

Yes, our program is designed with flexibility in mind. The full cohort season is three months, and this is what we encourage for families who want the complete cultural, educational, and community experience. However, we welcome families who can only stay for 30 to 90 days.

Stays shorter than 30 days are considered on a very limited basis, for families who truly want to join but cannot commit to a full month. Here's how we allocate spots:

  • First priority: full 3-month (full season) families
  • Second priority: 1-month (single cohort) families
  • Third priority (if space remains): shorter stays, case by case

Book a consultation and we'll work with you to find the right fit.

What is included in the Full Immersion bundle?

The Full Immersion bundle is designed for families who want a completely handled experience. It includes:

  • The 5-day learning program for your child(ren)
  • Curated, professionally managed housing in Willemstad
  • Community access (includes coworking, welcome dinner, meetups, and support)
  • Airport pickup and arrival logistics
  • Optional meal plan ($300/child/month)
  • A 10% bundle discount applied to your total

There is also a one-time registration fee of $250 per child. This is paid once, whenever you book your first ÎleO experience, and from that moment on your family has a welcome spot in our community. As the program grows, enrolled families will always have priority access to future cohorts and seasons.

You focus on being present with your family. We handle everything else.

What is the difference between Full Immersion and Local / Independent?

Full Immersion is for families arriving from abroad who want the complete ÎleO experience: housing, community, coworking, airport logistics, and the learning program all bundled together.

Local / Independent is for families already living in Curaçao, or those who have arranged their own housing, who want to join the learning program and community. This option focuses on the educational and community elements only.

We prioritize Full Immersion families for each cohort, with a limited number of Local / Independent spots available subject to capacity and community balance.

When are payments due, and can I pay in installments?

A non-refundable deposit is due at booking to secure your family's spot. The remaining balance is payable in installments on a schedule we confirm with you during consultation. Typical installment structures are:

  • Deposit: due at booking (non-refundable)
  • Second installment: due 120 days before cohort start
  • Final installment: due 60 days before cohort start

We work with each family individually to make the payment rhythm manageable.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Your deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable up to 60 days before your cohort start date. Cancellations made within 60 days of the start date may be eligible for a credit toward a future cohort, at our discretion. Full details are outlined in your booking agreement. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

Are there sibling discounts?

Yes. Tuition is discounted for additional children:

  • 2nd child: 5% off tuition
  • 3rd child: 10% off tuition
  • 4th child: 15% off tuition
  • 5th child: 20% off tuition
  • 6th child and beyond: 25% off tuition

Discounts apply to the program fee per child and are reflected automatically in the Craft Your Stay calculator.

Is travel insurance included or required?

Travel insurance is not included but is strongly recommended for every family. We ask that all families carry medical and trip cancellation insurance for the duration of their stay. Your health, your children's safety, and your financial investment all matter, and good travel insurance protects all three.

Are flights included?

Flights are not included. Families book their own travel to Hato International Airport (CUR) in Curaçao. We coordinate airport pickup on arrival as part of your Full Immersion package. Most families fly in from the US East Coast (direct flights from Miami, JFK, Charlotte, and Newark), or via Amsterdam from Europe.

Is the coworking space included for both parents?

Community Access is priced per adult, per month, and pricing varies by season (Fall 2026 is the off-season rate; Winter 2027 carries our peak Carnival-season rate). Once Community Access is paid for a parent, everything is included: coworking, welcome dinner, weekly community events, private call rooms, and parent circles. Both parents in a family typically enroll, though it is not required if only one parent will use the space. The Craft Your Stay calculator shows the live rate for each season.

How do I apply, and is there a vetting process?

The process is simple and conversational:

  • Start by submitting a consultation request through our Craft Your Stay page.
  • We schedule a 30-minute call to learn about your family, answer questions, and confirm fit.
  • If aligned, we send you a booking proposal with personalized housing and pricing.
  • You secure your spot with a non-refundable deposit, and we begin pre-arrival onboarding together.

Yes, we do review all placements for community alignment and fit, not to exclude but to protect the experience for every family in the cohort.

Do both parents need to be on-island, or can one parent travel back and forth?

Only one parent needs to be on-island. We understand that many families have one partner who travels for work, has client commitments, or simply prefers a flexible schedule. As long as one parent is present with the enrolled children, the other is welcome to come and go as needed.

How far in advance should I apply?

As early as possible. Because our cohorts are limited to 6–10 families, spots tend to fill quickly, especially for Fall and Winter, our most popular seasons. We recommend booking at least 4–6 months before your desired cohort start date. If you're interested in Fall 2026, reach out now to secure your place.
